Mitt Romney Will Fight Evander Holyfield

Former presidential candidate, Mitt Romney will be sparring with former boxing champion, Evander Holyfield. The former Massachusetts governor will be fighting Holyfield, the former heavyweight boxing champion, on the 15th of May, according to the Salt Lake City Tribune. Romney made a statement to a newspaper, saying that the fight would not be long, and he might be knocked unconscious.



Then he said that it would not be too serious of a fight. The event will take place in Salt Lake City, Utah, where Mitt Romney previously assisted in the organization of the 2002 Winter Olympics. The aim of the show is to raise some money for the group Charity Vision. The humanitarian charity send doctors and equipment to developing countries in order to help poor people in need of eye surgeries.



Romney was the Republican candidate in the 2012 presidential elections, but lost to President Barack Obama. He has recently made an announcement, stating that he will not attempt to be nominated for the presidency in the upcoming elections. Holyfield, his opponent had the nickname ‘The Real Deal’ in his boxing days, and was involved in the famous incident in which part of his ear was bitten off by Mike Tyson in 1997.
